Transitioning from corporate to entrepreneurship has been a wild ride of self-discovery, mindset shifts, and reinvention. Every minute is spent marinating in every other place BUT my comfort zone - so much so that my fingers are still pruney. It has been a massive amount of work and so many tiny, itty bitty details that you never even think about until you realize you should have done that 3 weeks ago…yikes! But even though every step has been scary as hell - I wouldn’t change any of it…not one thing.
If you’re sitting there reminiscing and remembering your ‘why’ - ‘why’ you left what you were doing or ‘why’ you started your business - I am glad this took you there! And if it didn’t - I hope it does now. My ‘why’ was, is and always will be, my mental health. While this transition was challenging and my mental was stressed, I was and still am THRIVING! Like who knew such a thing was possible?! My professional and corporate experiences were rife with toxicity and were environments not set up for people to be productive and successful. I was only just surviving, but longing to be at work and thriving. And as a high-performer, struggling at work was foreign to me, but that is the position I found myself in…under-valued and unhappy. I knew I was meant for better and that something had to give and that something was me. This is how I have landed in front of you here as an Online Business Manager and wait for it…Entrepreneur! ❤️
When I am not making magic happen as an Operations Wizard, I am with my furry bestie for the restie, Maddox. He is an 8-year-old rescue, who is the love of my life and who I taught how to talk using buttons! In addition to spending time with Mads, you can also find me burning out my eyes staring at the Florida Gulf Coast sunsets, at the beach, being a tourist in my own state, or traveling the world.
